Attachment-Focused EMDR, certified through Parnell Institute and EMDRIA · 34-year Vipassana practitioner · 30 years of clinical trauma practice
I am an integrative and certified Attachment-Focused EMDR trauma therapist, certified through both the Parnell EMDR Institute and EMDRIA. I'm deeply rooted in a holistic model that includes the mind-psyche, somatic embodiment, spirit, community, and the planet at large.
My clinical and spiritual orientations range from Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic, relational, and intersubjective work to psychodynamic theory, mindfulness practice, Buddhist psychology, Indigenous psychology, and transpersonal, depth-oriented inquiry. I have a long-standing, thirty-four year Vipassana Insight Buddhist meditation practice alongside thirty years of clinical practice as a trauma therapist, and received my Master's in Psychology with a Somatic Concentration from JFK University in Orinda, CA, in 1997.
"As a queer, non-binary, Asian Pacific Islander, I know that both trauma and healing can come from our individual and cultural histories."
I welcome BIPOC and Global Majority clients, and the LGBTQIA+, Non-Binary, and Trans community, along with anyone in search of emotional, psychological, somatic, and spiritual healing. My practice is a place where people of all cultures, genders, and sexual identities can feel heard and affirmed for who they are. I offer both brief and long-term therapy. If you want to know more or have any questions, please reach out. I would be happy to respond.
